UniBw x EDTH Hackathon – FIMI & OSINT

Join 100+ participants from across Europe and beyond at the European Defense Tech Hackathon on November 6–8, 2026 — co-organized with the dtec.bw project “Media for Peace (M4P)” at the University of the Bundeswehr Munich

For six years, M4P has researched how information is used as a weapon in conflict, known as Foreign Information Manipulation and Interference (FIMI), and what can be built to counter it.

Start with the Showcase: On Friday, November 6, M4P presents its findings at its final Showcase, from 9 am to 5 pm. You get 48 hours, mentors from the Bundeswehr, and researchers from across the Munich ecosystem who will tell you whether your idea and prototype hold up.
