e-Tandem: Building bridges – connecting cultures

The e-Tandem project brings together German- and Arabic-speaking students from the German Jordanian University and UniBw.

Working in pairs, participants practise German and Arabic in everyday situations, discuss culture and current affairs, and take part in weekly online sessions featuring games, discussions and media content.

The programme is supervised and led by two specialists:

• Hajer Nahdi Thouroude (University of the German Armed Forces, Munich)
• Zain Abu-Taleb (German Jordanian University)
