Dissertation of Dr. Michael Braun

On May 27, 2020, Dr. Michael Braun successfully defended his dissertation on “Affective Automotive User Interfaces”. In his dissertation, conducted at BMW, Michael Braun dealt with emotionally adaptive user interfaces in the vehicle, in particular with novel approaches to emotion regulation with the aim of improving the driver’s state as well as with emotionally sensitive interactions to enhance the user experience.

 

Prof. Alexander Meschtscherjakov from the University of Salzburg and Dr. Ronald Schröter from the Queensland University of Technology served as external reviewers.
