Prof. Regina Bernhaupt visiting

We were excited about Prof. Regina Bernhaupt visiting our lab in July 2020. Prof. Bernhaupt is a full professor at the Technical University of Eindhoven and was the General Chair for CHI 2020. We provided Prof. Bernhaupt a tour of the institute and BehAVR lab and showed her several of our ongoing research projects.

Our group contributes this year 6 full papers and various late breaking works, workshop papers and demonstrations to the ACM CHI Conference on Human Factors in Computing Systems.

Introducing the xReality Framework

Together with Philipp Rauschnabel, Reto Felix, Chris Hinsch and Hamza Shahab we published a framework on XR in the journal “Computers in Human Behavior”, which introduces a revised view on XR.

Internship Luis

During a one-week school internship, Luis was able to gain insights into the research of the Usable Security and Privacy group. He also developed a working software and hardware prototype.

AFCEA Exhibition 2022

The Usable Security and Privacy Group presents two interesting research projects at this year's AFCEA Exhibition in Bonn: HotFoot and PriKey

Google Faculty Award for PrEvoke

The Usable Security and Privacy group has won a Google Faculty Award for the PrEvoke project, which will launch in January 2022.

School Internship

The Usable Security and Privacy group had the opportunity to introduce a student intern to research in the field of human-machine interaction. During his one-week internship in October 2021, Lucas gained insights into the daily routine of the scientific staff and was also able to realize his own small projects.
