Open Lab

For the first time, the Research Group for Usable Security and Privacy organized an Open Lab Event in which employees of the research institute as well as guests from the LMU Munich took part. PhD students and students showed various projects on eye tracking, thermal imaging cameras, VR and AR, behavioral biometrics and new types of interaction for touch-sensitive surfaces.

On October, 4th 2019, ARD weather expert and science journalist Karsten Schwanke and Prof. Dr. Manfred Broy from the Technical University of Munich spontaneously visited us.

We presented 2 papers and one poster at SOUPS 2019 in Santa Clara, California.

Usable Security and Privacy Group at CHI 2019

The Usable Security and Privacy Group presented several publications at this year's CHI conference in Glasgow.

BehaVR Lab

We are excited about finally establishing the BehaVR Lab at the Bundeswehr University. The lab allows us to explore novel user interfaces and concepts that learn from and react to users' behavior. VR and AR technology allows us to explore concepts in novel settings and to simulate realistic environments.
