ION-GNSS+ Conference 2026 in Orlando/Florida

The institute presented only a few but very valuable contributions at this year’s ION GNSS+ conference. Himanshu Sharma presented a review of the current state of precise carrier-phase positioning with smartphones, while Mathias Philips-Blum gave a virtual presentation on the simulation of pseudolite positioning using an RF simulator. Prof. Pany gave a tutorial on inertial navigation and, together with several prestigious colleagues, received an award for his historical paper on GNSS software-defined radio, which was the most-cited paper in NAVIGATION in 2025.
