Student Internship in the Mathematical Engineering Program

High school student Maxi S. completed a two-week internship at the Universität der Bundeswehr München to learn more about the Mathematical Engineering (ME) program and studying at UniBW München.

During his stay, he attended various mathematics and physics lectures, explored the campus, and gained exciting insights into research areas such as autonomous driving and drone applications. In his own projects, Maxi demonstrated practical skills: he 3D-printed a small model of an X-Wing in the lab and worked on building a virtual exploration world for UniBW München, which can also be seen in the photo. Maxi was supervised by Thomas Apel, Matthias Gerdts, Johannes Pfefferer and Mathias Richter.

The internship was a great success for everyone involved. We wish Maxi every success for the future!
