Annual Summer BBQ Held in Warm and Sunny Weather

Yesterday, IMCS and the DLR Institute for the Protection of Terrestrial Infrastructures once again hosted their traditional annual summer BBQ. Over the years, the event has become an established part of institute life and offers an opportunity to spend time together outside of the daily work routine.

With warm and sunny weather providing ideal conditions, current co-workers and their partners gathered on site to enjoy a relaxed summer evening. In addition to BBQ specialties, many guests contributed homemade side dishes and desserts to the shared buffet. Card and board games also provided entertainment throughout the evening and rounded off the event in a relaxed atmosphere.

Special thanks go to this year’s organizing committee, Aysun Gedik, Katharina Lorenz and Bishr Maradni, for coordinating the event. We would also like to thank BBQ master Max Firmbach for taking care of the grill and ensuring everyone was well fed throughout the evening.

We are looking forward to continuing this long-standing tradition in the years to come as well as the other social events still planned for this year.
