First in-person meeting of the joint AutoStent project between IMCS and TU Wien

Last week, Aswin Nath, Ivo Steinbrecher, and Daniel Wolff traveled to Vienna to meet with our collaboration partners at the Institute of Lightweight Design and Structural Biomechanics (ILSB) at TU Wien. It was the first in-person meeting of the joint AutoStent project, which aims to develop an autonomous design assistant for patient-specific stent grafts.

Over the course of the week, we had the opportunity to discuss ongoing work, align our research efforts, and exchange ideas in an engaging and productive atmosphere. We thank our colleagues in Vienna for their warm hospitality and excellent organization. The visit not only advanced the scientific collaboration but also strengthened the connection between the two groups.

We look forward to continuing the work together and to hosting the next meeting in Munich.
