CISS supports Intelligence College Europe (ICE)

18 January 2026

CISS continues to support the Intelligence College Europe (ICE) through various courses offered from the portfolio of the Master of Intelligence and Security Studies (MISS). These courses are specially designed for the ICE.
ICE is a unique intergovernmental initiative that aims to build a common strategic culture in the field of European intelligence services. The exchange and cooperation between intelligence service employees and academics at European universities is essential to this.

The work of the ICE is based on three pillars:

  1. the Academic Program,
  2. thematic seminars, and
  3. outreach initiatives.

The Academic Program offers, among other things, courses lasting several days in cooperation with universities. It aims at employees and experts from the intelligence services as well as selected students.
The thematic seminars bring together experts, decision-makers, and academics for expert discussions on topics relevant to intelligence services.
Outreach initiatives include public discussion formats and publications, including the Intelligence Journal for Intelligence and Counterintelligence and the annual ICE Bibliography on Intelligence.
