  •  second-year WOW student
  • SLP 3332
  • at least 120 points in the English placement test
  • zivilian students must do the English placement test

The Language Centre runs the English for special purposes course for second-year students studying WOW.
The module lasts one trimester and is offered in the spring trimester.

 
Course Content:

  1. Teaching of economics-specific technical vocabulary.
  2. Development of general foreign language proficiency, particularly in the areas of vocabulary and grammar (intermediate level).
  3. Practising and applying what has been learned in relevant interactive business contexts (presentations, discussions, role-plays).
  4. Discussing current economic developments in the foreign language.

 

Active participation in class is expected.
