Company outing to the Weihenstephan Brewery

At the beginning of 2026, our team from the Institute for Technical Product Development (ITPE) spent an afternoon swapping their usual work environment for a special glimpse into the world of brewing.

As part of a company outing, we visited the Bavarian State Brewery Weihenstephan in Freising, which is considered the oldest continuously operating brewery in the world. During a tour of the production facilities, we gained fascinating insights into the various stages of beer production—from raw materials to bottling.

In addition to the technical aspects, the visit also provided an opportunity for personal interaction outside of the daily work routine. We then wrapped up the outing in a cozy atmosphere at the historic Bräustüberl.

The group outing was a wonderful opportunity to strengthen team spirit while also getting a glimpse into a production facility steeped in tradition.
