At ACEX 2025 in Naples

From July 1 to 4, 2025, Florian Günther and Alexander Koch attended the 18th International Conference on Advanced Computational Engineering and Experimenting (ACEX2025) in Naples. The conference provided an excellent platform for international exchange on current developments in the field of computer-aided engineering and innovative manufacturing methods.

Alexander Koch war als eingeladener Redner mit einem Vortrag zum Thema Alexander Koch was invited to give a presentation on “Agile Hardware Development for Direct Manufacturing.” In his presentation, he introduced the basic idea of combining agile product development methods with additive manufacturing processes. This allows synergies to be leveraged and the potential of additive manufacturing to be optimally exploited. Florian Günther presented a poster on “Potential Identification for Direct Manufacturing,” which dealt with the identification and evaluation of application potentials for direct manufacturing.

Both the presentation and the poster attracted considerable interest and led to stimulating discussions and valuable feedback from the international expert community. The conference program also offered the opportunity to visit the ancient city of Pompeii and immerse oneself in Roman history.
