Successful Participation at IGA2025 in Eindhoven
18 September 2025
Our team took part in the 13th International Conference on Isogeometric Analysis (IGA2025), held from September 14–17, 2025 in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. The venue was DOMUSDELA, a cultural and conference center in the heart of the city, located in the historic buildings of the former Mariënhage Monastery – where the photo above was also taken.
We presented two talks:
-
Eugenia Gabriela Loera Villeda: “ Embedded Mesh Methods for Coupling Cartesian Meshes and Tailored Isogeometric Boundary Layers in Contact Problems” in the minisymposium Trimming, Immersed, And Non-Conforming Methods
-
Philipp Zilk: “ Isogeometric Analysis on Polar Domains With Corners: Error Estimates, Graded Mesh Refinement and Graded Collocation” in the minisymposium Mathematics of IGA (Keynote)
Both talks were met with great interest and sparked lively discussions. The social program was equally convincing: in the unique monastery setting, there were many opportunities for exchange, networking, and personal encounters.
