Research Collaboration Continued: Thomas Apel Visits Mariano Mateos in Gijón

From September 22 to 26, Thomas Apel visited Mariano Mateos at the University of Oviedo in Gijón, Spain. Together with Arnd Rösch, the three continued their long-standing scientific collaboration.

Building on their most recent joint publication in Results in Mathematics, they developed new results in the field of non-coercive control problems and further advanced the research topic opened there.

The visit to Gijón offered not only the opportunity for intensive working sessions, but also for personal exchange – another step in the successful cooperation across institutions and national borders.
