For his contribution „Mesh Tying and Contact Algorithms for Nonlinear Beam-to-Solid Interactions“, Ivo Steinbrecher, PhD candidate at the Institute for Mathematics and Computer-Based Simulation, was awarded the „GACM Best-Poster-Award“ at the „8th GACM Colloquium on Computational Mechanics“ in Kassel, Germany.
