The SENS (Integrated Sensor Systems) Research Center pools expertise in the fields of physics, computer science and electrical engineering to conduct basic research, study new sensor principles and create unique sensor prototypes for numerous applications. The members of the SENS Research Center and the affiliated departments not only design and build prototypical sensors but also carry out interdisciplinary research on the technological and IT fusion of various sensors with edge computing and AI-assisted preprocessing of sensor signals.
