air traffic flows

1 March 2022

Compared to the inflexible specification of routes in the air traffic system, the implementation of the free-routes concept allows the implementation of individual trajectories. It is to be expected that this will lead to a ( punctual) increase in the workload of the controllers, especially in airspaces with high heterogeneity of traffic. Considering this, a model is to be developed and exemplarily implemented, which aggregates and adjusts provided flight trajectories in a suitable way.
