The research group is dedicated to developing GNSS-like pseudolite signals that are synchronized with the GNSS time base, enabling integration with GNSS for PVT applications. This work is carried out in close collaboration with WORK Microwave GmbH and RWTH Aachen University.
To achieve tight synchronization with the GNSS time base, the team has developed and implemented a 'loop-back' synchronization scheme. The next phase of the research aims to design a pseudolite signal with an OFDM structure and a compact assembly compatible with cellular standards. This development aims to lay the foundation for future integration as a dedicated LEO-PNT payload and deployment in urban environments.
