Thomas Apel participates in INAF Workshop on Numerical Methods

10 Mai 2026

From 7 to 9 May 2026, the Joint 22nd Numerical Methods for Problems with Layer Phenomena / INAF Workshop took place at FernUniversität in Hagen, Campus Berlin. The three-day workshop was organised by the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science at FernUniversität in Hagen and brought together researchers working on numerical methods for ordinary and partial differential equations.

The workshop focused in particular on flow and related problems as well as singularly perturbed equations. It provided a platform for the exchange of current research results and the development of new scientific collaborations. Thomas Apel participated in the conference with a talk entitled “The Stokes problem with non-homogeneous Dirichlet boundary condition”. The event was held at Neues Kranzler Eck, Kurfürstendamm 21, in the heart of Berlin. Over the course of three days, participants had the opportunity to engage in scientific exchange, discuss recent developments in the field, and strengthen connections within the international numerical analysis community.
