Participation at the PaCE Conflict Forecasting Workshop in Dublin

Christian Oswald participated in the PaCE Conflict Forecasting Workshop (March 7 to 8) at Trinity College Dublin, organized by Thomas Chadefaux who leads the ERC-funded Patterns of Conflict Emergence (PaCE) project at Trinity College Dublin.

The workshop had various themes such as conflict prevention, evaluating forecasts, and accounting for uncertainty, and brought together experts from Europe and the United States. He presented ongoing work to use Wikipedia page changes to measure and predict contentious politics.
