completed his Bachelor's and Master's degree in Earth Sciences with a specialisation in Mineralogy at the University of Innsbruck from 2008 - 2013. From 2011, he worked as a research assistant at Fraunhofer IBP, Holzkirchen, where he wrote his master's thesis. From 2014 to 2017, he worked in R&D at Schlagmann Poroton GmbH und Co. KG. Since 2018, he has been a research assistant at the Institute for Construction Materials. He received his Dr. rer. nat. 2022.
