Boarding and disembarking an aircraft cabin is a time-critical process. Interactions between passengers often lead to unnecessarily long process times in the confined cabin. In the last two years, requirements for pandemic protection for aviation have been added to the existing security (preventing unlawful interference) and safety (safe operation, accident prevention) requirements for airport operations. These have a high impact on the process flows in the airport terminal and in the aircraft cabin.

Using Anylogic, a model of an aircraft cabin is to be created that allows passengers to board and disembark. Relevant data is to be stored and processed in an analysis environment. Suitable entry/exit scenarios are to be developed and tested in the simulation environment.
