Diversity and Interdisciplinarity

We offer the interdisciplinary B.A. and M.A. program Management and Media and combine a total of 20 professorships in the following Institutes:

  • Business Management
  • Economics and Law
  • Organizational Communication
  • Journalism
  • Mathematics & Informatics
 
Aim of the program is to train future management personnel adept in economical science and equipped with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the field of media. Students acquire competences in economics and management, organizational communication and journalism.

Management Modules

In the management part of the program, students aquire knowledge in business administration, economics and law.  Courses are taught in practice-oriented teaching formats.

Media Modules

In addition to communication science and journalistic theories, the media part of the program focuses on practical experience.
Research techniques and journalistic forms of presentation are taught and knowledge in the production of online, print, audio or video contributions will be gained during the course of studies. Students will develop an understanding of the distribution and impact of cross-media content.
