We welcome two new members in the simulation group at IMCS

We are pleased to welcome two new members in the computer-based simulation group at IMCS (Prof. Popp) as of February 1, 2021:

Ms. Gabriela Loera Villeda (M.Sc. Computational Mechanics, TU Munich) will work on a DFG-funded research project in the area of computational contact mechanics.

Mr. Tarik Sahin (M.Sc. Computational Engineering, Ruhr-Universität Bochum) will do research on the topic of digital twins within the new project RISK.twin (research center dtec.bw).

The Institute for Mathematics and Computer-Aided Simulation (IMCS) once again participated in the annual conference "FE in the Snow," held in the beautiful Kleinwalsertal.
