Prof. Dr. rer. pol. Uwe Messer

has been Professor of People and Business Analytics at the Department of Business Administration since September 2021.

Uwe Messer studied business administration at Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW) Stuttgart and at the University of Bamberg, where he also received his doctorate degree from the Faculty of Social Sciences, Economics, and Business Administration (Dr. rer. pol.). He received the dissertation award of the University Association in 2017. Prior to his appointment at the Universität der Bundeswehr München, Dr. Messer worked for several years as a senior business analyst at WMF Group, where he was responsible for the data-driven optimization of the business unit for professional coffee machines.

Uwe Messer teaches and conducts research in the field of people and business analytics. The focus of his work to date has been on the technologization of work environment and the investigation of social perception in economic contexts. He is author and co-author of various scientific contributions that have been published in journals and at international conferences.
