Career opportunities in cybersecurity research

22 October 2025

At the Company and Career Forum in mid-October, more than 40 renowned companies and institutions presented themselves as potential employers on the campus of the University of the Bundeswehr Munich (UniBw M). This year, RI CODE was among the exhibitors at the 15th edition of the event, providing information about job vacancies and career opportunities in cybersecurity research.

The event was hosted by the university's Campus Advanced Studies Center (casc) and offered an excellent opportunity for employers, alumni, doctoral candidates, and students to exchange ideas and supported professional orientation, career development, and advanced academic education. In addition to the Career Forum, the event on October 15 and 16 also included a diverse program of preparatory seminars, coaching sessions, and lectures. The forum was opened by the University's President, Prof. Dr. Eva-Maria Kern.

As in the previous year, CODE had a booth at the Career Forum. The institute's team provided insights into selected current research fields related to cybersecurity, machine learning, and natural language processing. From students seeking information about theses and entry-level opportunities to those interested in doctoral positions, the booth attracted many visitors.
