Digital transformation, finance and controlling, logistics, organization as well as human resources management and business informatics are the areas of teaching and research of the five professors at the Institute of Business Management.

What we stand for

The Institute for Economics and Law deals on the one hand with economic and politico-economic topics and problems. On the other hand, its research focuses on fundamental legal structures in the fields of economics, labour and media.

Whether internal communication with employees, external communication with voters or customers, investors, NGOs, politicians or the general public - three professors deal with all these aspects of the management of companies and other organizations.

The Institute of Mathematics and Informatics is responsible for mathematical education in all application-oriented courses at the Bundeswehr University Munich. Seven professorships provide students with the mathematical and informatics fundamentals required for the respective subject and conduct application-oriented research in their respective subject areas.

At the Institute of Journalism, three professorships research and teach in the fields of digital journalism, innovation in journalism and editorial practice. The research aims at a close connection of theory and practice.
