Our research focuses on semiconductor technology and semiconductor components as well as sensor systems for measuring chemical and biological parameters. In cooperation with other institutes and industry, the goal of these activities is to bridge the gap between basic scientific research and industrial application. By conducting our work both at the UniBw M and at the FhG-EMFT, where pilot lines for silicon semiconductor manufacturing and flexible electronics are available, we can rapidly convert new and innovative sensor concepts into prototypes and low-volume production series.
