The RC RISK is embedded in a network of cooperations and partnerships through its versatile and actively pursued research. On the one hand, this network is rooted in the interdisciplinary character of the research center; on the other hand, it is a result of the great variety of projects with RISK participation. A central topic of RISK research, security research in many cases forms the basis for new collaborations. For example, some of RISK's researchers participate in research within SiFo (a security research program from the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research), whose goal is to investigate various aspects and levels of security.
