In physics, kinematics as a branch of mechanics describes the motion of bodies. It makes it possible to assign a specific location to a moving object at any given time. It is often difficult for students to understand how movements from physics lessons relate to experiences in their everyday lives. The Reference Systems 360 project is designed to help students better understand concepts of kinematics. They specify the reference system through a menu selection and then experience the corresponding motion based on a 360-degree video.
