Kick-Off Workshop in the research project RISK.twin

19 November 2021

In the dtec.bw project RISK.twin, digital twins for critical infrastructure components are developed from basic scientific methodology to real application scenarios and objects (e.g. bridge, water, energy). To foster networking in the interdisciplinary project team and exchange with the external scientific advisory board, the RISK.twin Kick-Off Workshop took place on Monday, November 15, 2021 at the UniCasino in compliance with the valid Corona rules. In addition to the project strategy, the first research results were discussed.

Besides organizing the workshop, IMCS was also responsible for four contributions to the workshop. Prof. Popp reported as project leader on the status of the overall project. For the IMCS based subproject "Methods for hybrid digital twins", Max von Danwitz  gave a status overview. Thank Thank Kochmann and Tarik Sahin presented first results of their research in the PhD colloquium.
