Would you like to put your research results into practice or exploit them together with industry?

The University of the Bundeswehr Munich (UniBw M) has always regarded the commercial exploitation of research results for the benefit of society as a special obligation. The University's IP Service advises and supports university members in the reporting of inventions and their evaluation and exploitation in cooperation with external service providers.

For all members of UniBw M who intend to use an industrial property right within the scope of their spin-off, the IP Service provides support, for example, in preparing the invention reporting, evaluating the invention with regard to patentability and, if applicable, in applying for a patent for the invention by the university with the help of patent exploitation agencies such as Bayerische Patentallianz GmbH (BayPAT) as well as working out the conditions for exploitation.
