Colonel Fahl visits RI CODE

At the beginning of February, Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of the Bundeswehr Digitalization Center and Cyber and Information Space Capability Development (ZDigBw), Colonel GS Achim Fahl, visited the Research Institute Cyber Defense and Smart Data (CODE) in Munich.

After Colonel GS Fahl had visited the Center for Intelligence and Security Studies (CISS) in the morning, where he was welcomed by Director Prof. Dr. Carlo Masala, among others, he visited CODE in the afternoon. After an introduction to the research institute's main areas of research and work and discussions with CODE management, Colonel GS Fahl visited the Cyber Range and the QKD laboratory, where the Munich Quantum Network (MuQuaNet) project team gave a vivid demonstration of a possible application scenario for quantum-secure encrypted data transmission.

The Research Institute CODE is grateful for the constructive dialogue and looks forward to further cooperation.
