Bojan Laganin M.A.

Bojan Laganin is fascinated by the interrelations in international politics. He studied History and Political Science (B.A.) as well as Social Science (M.A.) at the Ruhr University Bochum. His studies included time studying in Madrid, Zaragoza (Spain) and Minsk (Belarus).

His research initially focussed on security policy in South-Eastern and Eastern Europe. As part of his Master's thesis, he analysed the positions of Serbia and Montenegro with regard to the EU's Common Foreign and Security Policy.

During and after his studies, he worked as a junior instructor in political education at the Gustav-Stresemann Institute in Bonn. There he dealt with problems at the nexus of development and security policy. Fluent language skills in English, Russian, Spanish and Serbo-Croatian round off his international profile.

Since April 2024, Bojan Laganin has been working as a research associate at the Centre for Crisis Early Warning (CCEW) at the University of the Bundeswehr Munich.
