Both the doctoral regulations (PromO) of the Universität der Bundeswehr München from November 2000 and the doctoral regulations from February 2012 prescribe the submission of a dissertation in an electronic format, which will then be published on AtheneForschung.
If you want to publish your dissertation electronically, please note the following:
The title page must comply either with the requirements of Annex 7 of the PromO of November 2000, or with the requirements of Annex 4 of the PromO of February 2012 in both the printed and electronic versions.
Please upload your dissertation to AtheneForschung as a PDF file (preferably in PDF/A format) using the following link:

In addition, the following documents must be submitted to the Examination Office (Prüfungsamt):
- 3 printed copies of the dissertation (at least A5, coil, comb or velo)
- The PDF version of the dissertation on CD-ROM
- The form, filled out and signed
