The Research Institutes

The Research Institutes

The Department of Aerospace Engineering comprises 14 Institutes in which a total of 21 university professors and approx. 200 scientific staff members conduct research and teach. The Institutes cover the entire range of aerospace applications. Methodologically, the focus is on complex systems, aero-, thermo- and fluid dynamics, as well as construction methods and materials. Automotive systems are also considered.
