SLOPOS17 – the 17th International Workshop on Slow Positron Beam Techniques and Applications
SLOPOS17 – the 17th International Workshop on Slow Positron Beam Techniques and Applications – will be held September 6–11, 2026, in the historic Alpine town of Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany. A preceding Summer School on September 5–6 offers Master's and PhD students a structured introduction to the fundamentals of positron beam research.
The workshop brings together the international community working with slow positron beams, covering topics such as positron and positronium beam technologies, pulsed beams and traps, thin films and nanostructures, porous materials, surfaces and interfaces, positronium formation and emission, positron interactions with atoms and molecules, anti-hydrogen research, theoretical calculations, and advances in experimental and data-processing techniques.
For registration, accommodation, and further details, please see the organizer's website.
