My research focus is about modeling and simulation of cerebral aneurysms including various topics:

  • Computational and Imaging-Based Hemodynamic Assessment of Intracranial Aneurysms

 

    • Generation of Endovascular Implants for Aneurysm Treatment
                    

    • Simulation of Patient-specific Interventions

 

Software Stack

  • 4C: open-source multiphysics code
  • VMTK: tool for preprocessing of vascular geometries
  • CubitPy: for mesh generation
  • Beamme: for generation of finite element beam meshes 
  • Paraview: for data visualization and analysis tool
  • Spack: for handling software installation at our HPC Cluster
