We welcome our new member in the simulation group at IMCS

We are pleased to welcome our new member in the Computer-Based Simulation Group at IMCS (Prof. Popp) as of 1 May 2021:

Mr. Max von Danwitz (M.Sc. Simulation Science, RWTH Aachen University) has been doing research at CATS, RWTH Aachen University on the simulation of compressible flows with space-time finite elements. He will now assist with the project management of the RISK.twin project (research center dtec.bw) and advance the novel concept of hybrid digital twins for critical technical infrastructures over the next few years.

Once again, we extend a warm welcome to him!

The Institute for Mathematics and Computer-Aided Simulation (IMCS) once again participated in the annual conference "FE in the Snow," held in the beautiful Kleinwalsertal.
