Research days 2022 of Simulation Group at Ammersee

On November 22 and 23, 2022, the Research Days of the Simulation Group of IMCS sucessfully took place in Herrsching am Ammersee for the second time.

The program started with scientific lectures on the topics: "Rough Surface Contact" and "Algebraic Multigrid Methods".  Additional topics like "How to present my research?", "Collaboration on software", "HPC@IMCS / DSC Lab" and "Deep dive: Queens" were established and intensively discussed in a workshop or rather tutorial format.

An adventurous hike and after work evening provided also time for personal exchange besides the intense research topics during daytime. We are looking forward for the Research Days 2023!

The Institute for Mathematics and Computer-Aided Simulation (IMCS) once again participated in the annual conference "FE in the Snow," held in the beautiful Kleinwalsertal.
