Research days of Simulation Group at Ammersee

On December 01 and 02, 2021, the simulation group of IMCS spent two research days in Herrsching am Ammersee in compliance with the valid Corona rules.

 

The scientific lectures and discussions focused on the topics, "Physics-Informed Neural Networks", "Space-Time Finite Elements" and "Isogeometric Analysis and Non-uniform Rational B-Splines".  In addition, there were tutorials on frequently used software tools for meshing and software testing. During a short hike and in the evening there was room for personal exchange of the institute's members.

IMCS at "FE im Schnee" 2024

The Institute for Mathematics and Computer-Aided Simulation (IMCS) once again participated in the annual conference "FE in the Snow," held in the beautiful Kleinwalsertal. The conference provides a platform for the exchange of knowledge and novel approaches in the field of the Finite Element Method and computer-aided simulation.
