We welcome our new employee in the Computer-based Simulation group

We are pleased to welcome our new colleague Daniel Wolff to the Computer-based Simulation group (Prof. Popp). He did his PhD at CATS, RWTH Aachen on the topic "Learning-Based Approaches for the Analysis and Optimization of Profile Extrusion Dies and Bioreactors" and will join our institute as a postdoc. Daniel Wolff will play a leading role in the RISK.twin project of the research center dtec.bw and will further develop the novel concept of hybrid digital twins for components of critical technical infrastructure in the coming years.

We warmly welcome Daniel and wish him a successful start to his new role!
