Leon Eckardt obtains the Best Award for outstanding achievements

On Thursday, November 10, 2022, Leon Eckardt, who is currently an external doctoral student at IMCS, was awarded the Air Force Command's Best Award for outstanding academic achievements. He graduated at the top of his class from the Mathematical Engineering master's program with a stellar grade of 1.06 - the second highest grade ever achieved in the ME program - and completed his master's thesis last year at IMCS under Prof. Apel.

The Air Force Command's Best Award is presented annually at a ceremony to servicemen and women and civilian employees of the Air Force for their outstanding achievements.

We warmly congratulate Leon Eckardt on his successful graduation and the well-deserved win of the Best Achievement Award!
