Institute Excursion 2019

1 July 2019

On Tuesday, June 25, this year's IMCS excursion took us at temperatures up to 35 degrees to the beautiful city of Garmisch-Partenkirchen. The most important item on our agenda was a visit to the "Chocolaterie Amelie" in the historic Ludwigstraße, where we learned everything we could possibly know about chocolate. Not only because of the almost unlimited possibilities to try all the delicious chocolates, but also because of the pleasantly cooled rooms (18 degrees) we did not want to leave the chocolate factory ever again. After a short hike with a view to the Zugspitzmassiv, Bavarian delicacies and afterwards big ice-cream sundaes were ready for us at a local beer garden.
