IMCS continues to grow with two new employees

We are pleased to welcome two new staff members to the IMCS as of March 1, 2021:

Ms. Thank Thank Kochmann (M.Sc. Engineering Structures, Karlsruhe Institute of Technology) will be doing research on the topic of hybrid digital twin in the computer-based simulation group (Prof. Popp) within the new project RISK.twin (research center dtec.bw).

Mr. Philipp Zilk (M.Sc. Mathematics, University of Regensburg) will do research in the field of discretization of partial differential equations in the mathematics group (Prof. Apel).

The Institute for Mathematics and Computer-Aided Simulation (IMCS) once again participated in the annual conference "FE in the Snow," held in the beautiful Kleinwalsertal.
