GOR Working Group 2026
This years meeting of the
GOR-Working Group Simulation and Optimisation of complex Systems
will take place from
November 5-6, 2026
at the
House of Logistics and Mobility (HOLM)
This year, the workshop will focus on "Complexity: Analysis of Systems". As always, topics across the broad spectrum of our working group are warmly welcome—particularly in the areas of Simulation and Quantum Computing.
We look forward to an insightful day filled with thought-provoking discussions, fresh perspectives, and collaborative ideation.
The theme of "Complexity" runs through many of our research areas—whether in simulation, optimisation, or quantum computing. We therefore invite participants to engage with this theme within the context of their presentations.
We look forward to a wide range of contributions, for example from the following areas (not an exhaustive list):
- Analysis and Modelling of Complex Systems
- Optimisation Methods and Opportunities in Complex Systems
- (Event-)Discrete and Continuous Simulation Methods
- Agent-Based Modelling of Complex Systems
- Heuristic and Algorithmic Methods for the Efficient Solution of Complex Systems
- Methods for Model Calibration, Validation, and Verification
- Handling Uncertainty and Achieving Robust Solutions
- Applications in Economics, Engineering, and the Natural Sciences
- Optimisation and Machine Learning on Quantum Computers
