Teaching
Our chair offers lectures in civil law, private business law and international business and commercial law. In addition to the lecture "Introduction to Civil Law" offered over three trimesters, we also offer lectures in labour law, commercial and corporate law, cyber law, competition law, patent law and international private and commercial law. Furthermore we offer interdisciplinary seminars on study projects and in cooperation with the other chairs of the Institute of Economics and Law of the Global Economy. We also supervise bachelor's and master's theses on legal topics.
Research
The chair focuses on research topics from civil law and private business law, including international issues. A major research focus is on unfair competition law, intellectual property rights, antitrust law, industrial property law and copyright law.
