Phd-/Post-Doc-Position in Human-Computer-Interaction

At the professorship of Human-Computer-Interaction in the Faculty of Computer Science of the University of the Federal Armed Forces Munich (Prof. Dr. Michael Koch) two job offerings will be available from now on.

Research associate with opportunity for PhD (100% salary group 13 TVöD)

or

Post-doctoral candidate with the opportunity for further scientific qualification
(100% salary group 13 or 14 TVöD)

We are a young, dynamic team working in human-computer interaction and Computer-Supported Cooperative Work. Ideally, your interests and then areas of work would be in research and teaching - ideally in the context of using various ubiquitous user interfaces - especially large interactive screens - to support awareness in semi-public and public spaces.

We expect the applicant to work independently, to work in a team, to have creative and analytical thinking and to be interested in scientific work in interdisciplinary projects. An above-average diploma or master's degree in computer science, media computer science, business informatics or related disciplines is required. On request, employment can also take place part-time and, as usual in the university environment, is only possible for a limited time. Payment is made as usual according to TVöD salary group 13 or 14.

The University of the Federal Armed Forces Munich offers a state-of-the-art research environment that is a leader in various disciplines throughout Germany. A variety of sports and recreational facilities within the campus ensure an excellent work-life balance.

The university aims to increase the proportion of female scientists and therefore explicitly calls on women to apply. Applicants with a handicap will receive special consideration if they have the same qualifications.

If we have awakened your interest and if you feel addressed, we would be delighted to receive your application via e-mail or post with the usual documents, but at least a short letter of motivation, a curriculum vitae and relevant certificates:
