The KISOFT project uses a quasi-experimental setting to explore the extent to which people searching for new and surprising perspectives can be supported through artificial intelligence applications in their interpretation with a Qualitative Data Analysis (QDA) software. This software was developed at the Chair of Adult Education/Continuing Education. The interesting aspect from a social and humanistic perspective is the extent to which this new human-technology relationship changes the very act of interpretation and thus the way in which the empirical subject itself is approached.
